Prayer Request - July 25, 2010

Please remember the following in your prayers this week:

**Donna Shumate is in the hospital at Johnston Memorial. She is very sick. Pancreatitus. She has not been well for two weeks. Spent all day yesterday at Durham Regional where she had her surgery with no results. Tony took her to ER today and they admitted her. She is heavily sedated because she had a lot of pain.

Please pray for relief from pain for Donna, for proper treatment, and for peace for her and for Tony. Please remember this family as they struggle to become a healthy family.

**Sabrina Dees' brother, Gene Gore, He has recently been diagnosed with cancer. He has since had surgery to remove the mass in his neck (thyroid gland) and found out some cancer was still remaining around his voice box. Yesterday he had his first scan and they have found more cancer in his bladder and stomach. They will continue the scan today to finish his entire body.

Please pray for complete healing and to lift his spirits because he is very down. Pray for him to be surrounded by a team that can help heal him through God and correct treatment for him. Also lift his wife and Sabrina and her family in prayers. Ask that God will help them all through this very difficult time.

**Jeanette Blackman's friend, Susan, has had several family members come down with pertussis. Susan just had a baby and is herself struggling with some blood issues. Please remember this family as they recover from several health issues.

**David's Father, Neal, is struggling with seizure medications. Please pray that the doctors will be able to find the right amount of medication to give him without having break-through seizures.
